QA Engineer

Lendsqr is hiring a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its digital lending products and services. The role involves testing new and existing features, identifying weaknesses in products, maintaining automation tests, and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to improve software quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for planning and executing quality assurance processes, identifying bottlenecks in testing workflows, and suggesting improvements to optimize delivery. The role also includes validating technical specifications, supporting automation strategies, and ensuring products meet expected performance and usability standards across the lending platform ecosystem.

Candidates should have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance. Applicants are expected to have experience with QA tools, testing methodologies, UI testing, automated testing, and test-driven development practices. Experience with programming and technologies such as Java, HTML5, DB2, and XML is required. Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail are also important. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a remote engineering environment.
