About the role
Prime System is hiring a System & Network Engineer (Level II) to oversee, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure across multiple client environments. You'll provide hands-on expertise in system and network administration — managing routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies from vendors like Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, and Fortinet. You'll administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and VMware environments, support VPN and remote access solutions, perform security assessments and patch management, and handle Level 1 & 2 support using ticketing systems like ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator; 5+ years in a helpdesk or technical support role; strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2008–2022), VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure; proficiency with firewall technologies (Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and VPN solutions (Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki); familiarity with monitoring platforms, remote management tools, and ticketing systems; relevant certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or VCP required.
