About the role
Postman is the world's leading API platform, used by more than 45 million developers and 500,000 organizations including 98% of the Fortune 500. The Integrations Team is responsible for enabling seamless connectivity between Postman and the broader developer ecosystem — from version control and CI/CD tools to messaging platforms, monitoring systems, gateways, and more. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will build robust integration layers, APIs, and tooling that allow users and organizations to plug Postman into their end-to-end workflows with minimal friction. You will contribute to the development of products alongside a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, designers, and engineers. You will build and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend systems, define and evolve frontend architecture and best practices, build functional prototypes quickly, contribute to major user-facing features, perform code reviews, and own end-to-end initiatives. The role is based in Bangalore and currently requires three days in office per week, transitioning to five days by end of year.
What we're looking for
2 to 4 years of experience developing complex, distributed software applications at large scale. Strong experience building production-grade UIs using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript. Experience working on API platforms and developer tools is a strong plus. Strong curiosity for the AI landscape and eagerness to apply AI-native capabilities to solve real-world developer problems. Product-oriented mindset with empathy for users. Ability to own problems end to end and influence product direction through technical work. Comfort and enthusiasm working with global, distributed teams. Innate curiosity about how things work.
