About the role
eXp Realty, a fully cloud-based real estate brokerage, is hiring a remote DevOps Engineer (US-based) to own and improve their AWS infrastructure. You'll work hands-on with EKS, ECS, and Lambda; build and maintain Terraform and CloudFormation modules; manage CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins; and improve observability via Datadog, PagerDuty, ELK, or Splunk. The role is split between short-term incident response (on-call rotation expected) and longer-term automation, security, and reliability improvements. AI tools are used practically to reduce repetitive work.
What we're looking for
Around 3+ years of AWS experience with production-level ownership, hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) troubleshooting skills, and a strong scripting background in Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar. Must communicate well across engineering, product, and non-technical teams, take a security-first mindset toward infrastructure, and be comfortable participating in an on-call rotation.
