About the role
CBS News & Stations at Paramount is hiring an AR/VR Development Designer to shape how stories are experienced across broadcast news. AR/VR is no longer experimental here — it's operational, scalable, and central to daily newscasts and major national moments. You'll design and build immersive AR/VR environments in Unreal Engine and Cinema 4D, working directly with producers and creative leads to translate editorial ideas into intentional, high-performance visual space. The role spans CBS News, 28 owned TV stations, and the CBS News Streaming Network.
What we're looking for
Strong design background in motion, 3D, broadcast, or experiential design; solid Unreal Engine experience in real-time scene building; proficiency in Cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator); good instincts for lighting, composition, typography, and motion; understanding of real-time performance constraints for broadcast; ability to work fast across multiple projects; comfortable collaborating with both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
