Senior Database Administrator

Dangote Industries Limited is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to oversee and maintain their hybrid database environment spanning on-premises and Azure Cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, performance tuning, high availability, backup/recovery, and security of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server instances. The role involves close collaboration with security and engineering teams to keep databases running efficiently and reliably at enterprise scale.

B.Sc./HND in Computer Science or a related field; minimum 8 years of experience in a DBA or related role; Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA or equivalent); strong knowledge of database schemas, architecture, stored procedures, performance tuning, and troubleshooting; experience with RBAC, capacity planning, and backup/recovery procedures; knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL; familiarity with VB Script, Java, JavaScript, XML, C#, or PHP is an advantage; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
