Senior UX/UI Designer

Moniepoint is hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer to help design and improve financial products used by millions of users across emerging markets. The role focuses on creating intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences for banking, payments, credit, and business management tools. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end product design work, from discovery and user research through to wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution. The role involves working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define design direction, translate complex financial workflows into simple user experiences, and ensure consistent execution across platforms. You will also contribute to and evolve the design system, improve usability through data-driven decisions, and help shape product strategy in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a senior product design role with strong expertise in UX and UI design. You must have deep knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, user flows, visual design principles, and responsive design for both mobile and web platforms. Strong experience in user research methods such as usability testing, interviews, heuristic evaluation, and A/B testing is required. Applicants should be able to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into design decisions and have familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar. Proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, design systems, components, variants, and prototyping, is essential. Experience in fintech or SaaS environments is strongly preferred, along with the ability to mentor junior designers and communicate design decisions effectively across teams.
