Unreal Engine Developer – Robotics & Simulation

AION Robotics is a fast-growing startup manufacturing rugged autonomous ground vehicles for outdoor commercial jobsites. They're hiring an Unreal Engine Developer to build high-fidelity, real-time simulations for autonomous robotic vehicles — covering first-person/third-person control perspectives, physics-based environmental dynamics, and immersive UI/UX for robotic control interfaces. You'll integrate Unreal Engine with ROS/ROS2 and real-time data streams, collaborating with robotics engineers, software developers, and UX designers to push the limits of simulation realism.

3+ years of Unreal Engine development experience (UE5 preferred); strong background in first-person or real-world gaming/simulation; proficiency in C++ and Blueprint scripting; experience with physics engines, animation systems, and AI behavior trees; knowledge of networking for multiplayer or remote simulation; familiarity with ROS2 or real-world sensor data processing is a plus; VR/AR and autonomous systems simulation experience are a bonus.
